Simple & effective and from a trusted developer - The main reason for using an uninstaller app is to get rid of all the hidden support files that an app creates, and which are not removed if you simply toss the app into the trash. Worse, the hidden files are often active, and run in the background consuming your computing power wastefully. Even worse, is that some of these subroutines will spy upon you, transmitting data about your activity to the developer of the app. So it is important to get rid of all those hidden components. Over the years I have come to trust Trend Micro, and this uninstaller app seems to do the job quickly and fully, and I suspect that when I get around to checking it out, it has not created any hidden spyware. My computer is running a lot faster now that I have cleaned it out.

100% Total Lack of Support - I purchased this app back in August. It does exactly what it says its going to do (once you pay for the Pro Version). I ran into problems shortly after i reformatted all of my mac’s and then tried to RESTORE purchases. It simply doesn’t work. Their e-mail supports consists of an automated e-mail that replies back to delete it and retry (which doesn’t work) and then says if you continue having issues to email them back. It took about 3 days to get an additional response when they gave me a link to download their chat client, i downloaded it and no one is ever available so i emailed them back and they told me i had to be available during Beijing time, unfortunately i don’t have that availablity. So after about 2 weeks of going trying to get this issue resolved I am finally throwing in the towel. DO NOT EVER DELETE THIS OFF YOUR COMPUTERS OR IT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BE RESTORED. There are cheaper options in the Mac App Store that do the same thing. Check out App Uninstaller, It’s new to the Mac App store and i got it free. And it works the same way as this one.

Can’t Restore In-App Purchase - As others have mentioned, if you have to reinstall your machine, this application will not allow you to restore the purchase. And really, I don’t know why they just don’t charge for it right up front because it offers ZERO functionality without the enabling of ALL the features you get when paying the $9.99 charge. Their support is non-existent for this product. I thought Trend Micro was a better company than this, but I guess not. Having said that, Apple will refund your purchase if you can’t get the Restore button to work within the application. Just don’t abuse the refund process, though.

Cannot “Restore" Purchase for use on my other Mac - First, this app does not work unless you pay the $9.99 upgrade fee. Second, you cannot restore that purchase in order to use the app on another Mac with the same apple ID. You can download the app through “Purchases” tab, but since you have to upgrade to “Pro” for the app to do ANYTHING, and you cannot restore the purchase, it essentially does not work at all on any computer other than the one you bought it on. That is extremely disappointing, because I do think this app is worth $9.99, but not the $20 it would cost to run it on both of my computers. I bought it with both computers in mind, so obviously I’m not happy to discover this. In short, this app hides its cost as an “in-app purchase” and then makes that purchase non-transferable by disabling the “restore” function. This is tantamount to fraud. Apple, where is the quality control?

cannot restore purchase - don’t buy - This worked when I originally bought it, but now says it’s the free version. I don’t know what changed but it wants me to pay another $9.99 when I have already paid for it. I just sat on hold with Apple for 20 min and while I was waiting found another app that does the exact same thing for $3.99 and decided it’s worth that much to not have to deal with this company or wait on hold any longer for Apple to give me a refund. I suggest you do not buy this. It works fine… until it doesn’t, and there are cheaper app uninstallers. I think the one I got is called “App Cleaner and Uninstaller.” It was a little frustrating that it looks like a free app then asks you for $3.99 before it will do anything. But that’s better than $9.99 and hopefully this one will keep working!

Great except... - this app does exactly what i need it to and it does it very well with a really clean ui.. the only gripe i have is the price of this app. 10 $ is kinda a lot but Imo its worth it.. its free to download but without upgrading to the pro version, it will only scan apps and corresponding files. you can not uninstall them. overall its a heart utility to have on your Mac!
