"It really has the potential to become the standard software musicians use to learn. Most of the work I do nowadays I do with the help of Anytune. It is an essential part of my way of learning now."
- Jazz Musician Sixten Bergman
***** "I love this app so much!! It helps me for practising and transcribing songs. A must have app!!"
***** "Get this. - I’ve been using the iPad version for a while and I must say I’m happy the Mac version is out. Got the moment it came out. You should do the same. I’ve tried all others; nothing compares. It’ll save you hours upon hours."
***** "Transcription Heaven! - I’ve been using Anytune for the last few months and find it an essential tool in my musical education. I’m not an employee but I have Beta tested this version. I used to use ASD but find Anytune to be much more powerful and very intuitive. I use it primarily to slow down songs and transcribe notes for my bass. The slowdown function works great and the waveform visualization makes it incredibly easy to pick in/out points for every bar. Combine that with the powerful filters and you’re set. The ability to add lyrics and have them scroll in real time doesn’t hurt, either.I also have this on my iPad. It’s as important as my bass itself. Thanks, Anytune!"

The app I didn’t think I needed... - This is for the developer. I just wanted to make sure you guys knew that providing a demo was worth every penny it took to produce it. As a learning player, I looked at this app here in the store and could not see a reason why I’d need something like this. However, I got the demo from your site anyway and tried it out on Three Dog Night’s Shambala. I was surprised by what this app could do and with such high-quality sound too. There’s a funny note in that song that you can sense at full speed, but you’d never in a million years believe it until you literally hear it at a slower speed. Your demo sold me. I never would have spent the money here at the store had I not had the opportunity to experience what words alone could not describe so thanks for that and keep up the great work on this app. I gave it 5 stars just for its sound quality and slow-down features alone. Everything else is icing on the cake. My only request is to make the interface more intuitive. The buttons are kind of small and aren’t immediately understandable in all cases.
Not worth the price - If you have been in this world of transcription software for a while, it won't take you much longer to find other competitors offering you better value for the same price out there, like Transcribe! for Mac as to mention one of the most relevant ones. Firt at most important, the poor quality of audio when you slow down the track! Anytune software really struggles with lots of background noise and poor definition under 50% speeds. Also, it is remarkable the abscense of a reference keyboard with and a sound spectrum able to recognize Chords and Notes at an specific point. The interface does not have many operational buttons or the possibility to configure a Tool bar, forcing you to go and do everything through the top menus. If this is your first transcribing software, will it work and do what it says?: Yes If you are looking to get the most out of your money, is Anytune software worth? Definitely not, there are better options out there at the same price.

One Annoying Issue - Anytune is a great app, but if you have a subscription to iTunes Music, it’s useless. You should be able to use Anytune on any songs you’ve downloaded to your music library since you have a subscription to listen to them.
It’s first rendition was excellent 12 years ago, nothing new since - I purchased this same app over 10 years ago for $50 (Windows). So when I switched to the Mac world a few years ago I saw that the product had changed hands and was re-branded (I think the older product was called ‘Slow Downer’ or something like that. The older product did allowed you to diminish the vocals and had a much more refiened way to isolate instruments (for real…not like trying to do it here with filters that seem to distort what you don’t want to hear instead of diminishing it. Now I hear they have a knew solution that brings back in the old functionality and are branding and selling it as ‘Re-Frame’ or something like that. It’s unfortunate that instead of growing their user base via osmosis, their going straight for the cash. Don’t get me wrong it’s still a great product for entry-level musicians but it’s also a very old product that has not changed at all as far as I can see in the last 10 or so years. They do have a free trial of this Re-Framing functionality, which I clicked on but nothing happened so I guess Ill have to play around with it and see if it added anything of value. If it’s going to cost more to add this new ‘re-framing’, which was already in the original product (albeit framed differently), I’m going to have to pass. I’d rather pay 3X as much for a more robust solution that will help me take it to the next level. Beginner level-great product. If you are a beginner I’d recommend you take a look at a couple of other options on the App Store, there’s one that does pretty much the same thing for $10. I give it 4 stars because it has helped me get annaly correct when I’m tabbing a tune’s…at least a couple hundred.
Flawless - Our singing group has used other programs through the years to change the key and speed of accompanying tracks, both for rehearsal and performance. Anytunes is flawless in its performace to do both. It has provisions to record new parts with the tracks, and that function is flawless in its results as well. The design of the program for importing songs, organizing them, setting key and speed, looping for rehearsal, and using Anytunes as the platform for live performances, is all very impressive. A remarkable bargain for less than $50. Highest recommendation.
Worth Every Penny - I love this app.
Best app of it’s kind! - I use the OSX and iOS versions and this app is awesome- best of it’s kind! It’s the most valuable tool I have learning to play an instrument.
