I can’t live without this - I frequently use this app. Daily. It’s got great shortcuts, great features for annotating images and screenshots. I’m a visual person and this allows me to express my thoughts and move my workflow quickly. Arrows, texts, sharing. It’s great at all of these, and it’s painless and quick to use.

Dropbox integration broken - This was the perfect screenshot app until the Dropbox API update in September 2017. The Dropbox integration no longer works, and an update has still not been pushed. I have to be able to immediately upload screenshots to Dropbox to share public links directly to the image file, so unfortunately I’m back on the market for a better screenshot app.

Worked great with Dropbox until a mid-Sept 2017 - This was a great app for taking, editing, and sharing screenshots via Dropbox, but all that went away a few weeks ago when Dropbox integration stopped working. I’ve attempted to contact their support, but it looks like the company has gone in a different direction with CloudApp, going all in on their CloudApp service which isn’t nearly as functional as being able to upload and share via Dropbox. This appears to be a dead project now, which is a shame. Looking for a new tool is really hard. Please fix, then 5 starts again

Used to be amazing. Now I don’t use it at all - This app used to be my go-to for screenshots and notes. And I use those A LOT, because I work with designers and developers, and it is a great way to give feedback. However, since around a month ago, the Dropbox integration stopped working. I don’t want to download every single screenshot I take and have to go hunt for it in my folders. I want to use my dropbox links, as they are a faster and cleaner way to deal with leaving feedback for others. This needs to be fixed asap, or the developers will lose a ton of their fan base, including me. I hope they are reading all of the other similar reviews left here by others and do something about it. If not, I’ll be moving to monosnap.

Love it, but... - I aboslutely love Annotate (fka glui). Has the simplest user interface and controls do exactly what I want and need. But Dropbox integration, which I depend upon, has recently stopped working. This is not the first time that the app has stopped working for one reason or another, and they are not quick to fix it. Just needs some TLC and it will be the best thing out there.

This *was* really handy - This was a very handy app and it worked just greate up until late last month. The workflow was screenshot->markup->hit upload button->paste link to share it somewhere Now the workflow is screenshot->markup->take a native macOS screenshot->find the folder I’ve set macOS to save screen-shots to-> right click to get dropbox link-> share dropbox link. They REALLY need to update the Dropbox integration. I’m looking for something else to replace this now.

2.1.4 Fixes issues with macOS 10.12 Sierra - I’m delighted they got an update out that fixes the issues with macOS 10.12 Sierra. It’s by far my favorite screenshot and annotate tool. It’s SO quick and easy! It should not be ignored however that it seems like since the days it was called Glui that the app breaks on _every_ major OS update. Even long after beta/GMs of the OS were avialable and fixes could have been provided this is the one app I use that never seems to work after updating. It still gets 5 stars for keeping things simple and making it all easy. All the other screenshot apps try do too much and complicate things resulting in much slower workflows for capturing, annotating and uploading a screen shot.
