“The story was so well written with voice acting at parts that fit perfectly. The sound added to the ambience as much as the “motionless animation.””
“The environments are highly detailed and good voice acting is provided. Age of Enigma is a good adventure title that just falls short of being great.”
“Age of Enigma genuinely surprised me.”
“I enjoyed Age of Enigma. It’s a very well-polished and produced game with detailed graphics and great voice-acting.”

"Casual Box’s Age of Enigma does present adventure fans with plenty of conundrums. A wide variety of fun puzzles, immersive sound work and music, and an assortment of different cartoon worlds to explore combine to produce an entrancing lite adventure."

“Several of the puzzles in Age of Enigma are quite unique, putting new spins on standard puzzles.”

"Age of Enigma is a point-and-click adventure from Casual Box. It looks stunning, almost like a playable Saturday morning cartoon (readers aged 30 and over, that reference is for you!), and even though the puzzle elements are a bit thin, the game manages to paint an atmosphere of intrigue that draws you right in.”

After waking from a terrifying nightmare about a house engulfed in flames, medium Ashley Reeves receives an unsigned letter summoning her to this very place, where six restless ghosts are trapped. After gaining their trust, Ashley must channel each ghost and return to its homeland—exotic locales ranging from ancient Egypt to classical Japan to pirate-infested seas—so she can reconcile their unresolved deaths. Only after she has helped the ghosts find peace will Ashley understand why she’s been called here and what is truly at stake.

- 6 universes and a haunted house to explore
- A real adventure with plenty of puzzle to resolve
- 25 mini-games (+1 in this Special Edition!)

Don't miss Age of Enigma!

Age of Enigma combines puzzle solving, mini-games, and story in an intriguing mix of casual and adventure gameplay.

Players can choose to be guided through the story in casual mode, or experience longer dialogues and more freedom of exploration in adventure mode.

Striking cartoon artwork and a haunting soundtrack help set the spooky scene as Ashley progresses through the abandoned house to assist the restless spirits.

Soundtrack available on iTunes.

Fun but quick - Fun game - quick though- finished in half a day. Previous review was incorrect in saying that a person could not right click. Just click with two fingers just like you would in anything else.

Age of Enigma is a Must Have for hidden object gamers - I've already played this game three times. I've NEVER played any other game more than once. The plot is captivating and the graphics are awesome. The game gives just enough direction to avoid frustration when figuring out what to do next. It isn't the type of boring hidden object game where you have to scan for the same set of objects hidden in different scenes over and over again. Age of Enigma forces you to use your mind and common sense. It also gives you a variety of mini games to let you flex your skills with memorization, picture sudoku, mathematics, deduction, etc. And if that's not enough, each ghost provides a life lessons like, "life is worth more than anything…regrets don't honor the dead", cruelty and intolerance towards anyone can cost us those we cherish the most, and truth is the real treasure that will set you free. Yes, this game is one of the best. I will jump at the chance to play sequels. If I could pre-order, I would.

I was addicted! - This reminded me of a game I played a long time ago called Mist. If I find more games like this, I'd never get anything done!

Fun but short hidden object/puzzle style adventure. - Finished the game pretty quickly. Many of the puzzles are farely standard for this genre and thus a bit on the easy side if you play a few too many of these games. ( Or compteded in mathletics ) But there are some more challenging ones. I did notice two problems. The fresco puzzles are random and there is a chance that you can end up with an piece that can only really be solved by guessing. At worse though it will just reset the puzzle with new pieces if you guess wrong. The game also has the wrong answer for the triangle count geometry puzzle near the end. ( It undercounts by 5 ). Since other reviews mentioned it, I played the game on a trackpad, and was able to deal with the stuff that needed a right click though some times it would treat right clicks as left clicks if I had to repeatively tap them for example the screwdriver puzzles.
