Save your best friend and an entire 1950s town from a terrifying threat!
Your dearest friend, the journalist Helen Hunter, traveled to the coastal town of Serpent Creek to report on the Serpent Festival. Now she’s missing, and the last phone call she made was to you. As a paranormal private investigator, Helen wanted you to weigh in on some frightening things she’d discovered. She asked you to come immediately.
The first thing you see upon arriving in Serpent Creek is a humanoid, snake-like creature. Clearly, Helen’s fears were not groundless. It seems the town’s streets are crawling with snakes, the ground shakes with violent tremors, people are sleepwalking and, to make matters worse, no one remembers a blonde journalist.
Investigate mysterious locations and solve challenging puzzles to piece together clues about what happened to Helen. Reveal the evil that clutches this crippled town and stop a nefarious plot to bring the Snake God back to our world!

Great Game - I haven’t found any G5 Adventure Game I haven’t enjoyed playing and this one is no exception. I try to go though the games without any help. I find it keeps my mind busy with a challenge and that is somthing I try to do at my age. The more hidden objects and mini games the more I like it. I find the fun in having to search for objects and where to go next to accomplish tasks without help. When I am having a problem figuring things out, I will leave it and return with a fresh mind and solve it. A great way for a 76 yr old to keep the mind active and have fun doing it. Thank you for developing these games.

Cool and Weird Fun - The story is a little off kilter but it’s definitely fun. This game focuses on the hidden object puzzle aspect as the major mental challenge. There is some need to pay attention to the story to know where to go next (if you are playing on the hardest level). The rating of 12+ is because there are a few violent scenes (the old school kind where you see a man with a weapon yell and then you see the result, not the actual act). There are also a few monster scenes where you hear what’s happening to the victim. If you allow someone younger than 12 to play, I would urge you to supervise/edit (as in censor) some of the more intense scenes. Play it once through by yourself to see.
Fun but short - This is a fun hidden object adventure game, and I spent two hours completing it in expert mode which makes it pretty short. If you are an experienced player of these types of games, it may be too short to be worth the cost. Still, I enjoyed playing and the storyline.
Fun - This is a fun adventure. Puzzles, hidden objects and looking for clues. The puzzles are not too difficult and there are three levels of difficulty for the more advanced player.
I Like Mysteries Like This - I like solving mysteries like this. It makes me want to be a spy when I grow up.
Serpent Creek - I think it was great. Wonderful graphics, great story, no glitches. Very clear graphics and easy story follow-thru yet challenging enough not to cause frustration. Would highly recommend.
