Gorgeous app with intuitive user interface and good built in help - The pictures on the app’s product page don’t do it justice. It is very powerful. A very straightforward way of entering complex equations. You can even texture map an image onto a 3D surface! The graphics render beautifully, you can plat multiple equations simultaneously in different colors, even use transparency and easily rotate the graph in 3D space, and even send it spinning in whatever direction/rate you want with the mouse. I purchased it to try to visualize some planar intersections to help me with design of geometry object for OpenGL-based software I’m developing, and this app is proving to be quite helpful. Very impressive, tightly integrated clean tool, and seems like a lot of app for $10 to me… not overpriced at considering the work the author(s) probably put into developing it. I’m not a higher math expert so I can’t speak to the limitations for very advanced work, but this is a great app to have handy for sure!

Version 1.1.1

No parametric graphing - This won't graph parametric equations which is the only thing I wanted to do with it. Pre-purchase explanation of its capabilities is terrible. The author should really add a list of what it does to the program description, maybe with a note about what it does NOT do. Of course anyone can convert from parametric to implicit or explicit form, but why should I be doing the work that I paid $5 to have someone (namely, the app developer) do for me? The built-in OSX Grapher utility is mathematically better than Pacific Tech's 3D Grapher, the only problem with OSX grapher is that 3D animations don't work right. I wish I could get my money back.
