1Keyboard makes having an iPhone easy. - I am disabled and use a computer via hitting keys with a stick held in my mouth. This made the prospect of getting an iPhone a mixed blessing. Lots of accessibility, but typing on a touch screen is challenge. I did some research and when I read about 1keyboard I bought it right away. Yes, I am happy I can handoff text messaging using Apple’s Messages. But for all those times I need to enter text directly into the iPhone, such as a passwordd, search phrase, or name, I am so very thankful that 1keyboard lets me type from my computer keyboard as I have for decades!
Can't install.... - I'm on 10.6.8 and I've tried installing the app 3 times (iMac 20" display). When I try to launch it, it says that: "1Keyboard.app" is damaged and can't be opened. Delete "1Keyboard.app" and download it again from the App Store.

Worthless, and no customer service - I purchased this to connect my laptop to the Apple TV. Followed the instructions (which were skimpy) carefully and tried everything multiple times. Could not get the Apple TV to connect via bluetooth to this program. But there was a button to click for customer support, so I sent an email. I explained that instructions for connecting to Apple TV were way too sketchy and I needed better instructions. Did not hear back in 4 days so I wrote a second email. Still no response after 5 days. $10 down the drain.
Can only type, but no volume, playback control - Developer has stopped updating 1Keyboard for years now, so I think the app can’t cope with the new changes in both OS X and iOS. In my case, I can’t control the media (volume, playback) on my target device. You could only do the typing. Considering that the app is quite pricey but can support only remote typing. I wouldn’t recommend the app for those who haven’t decided yet. Don’t bother with it, you got many othe decent choices available in the market. By the way, don’t be fooled by the support email that being given. They won’t answer once they got your money anyway. updated: I would give negative star if I could. really frustrating that you cannot control the media player. Lots of 5-star reviews are from years ago, when it still functions, I guess.
Total life saver! - 1keyboard is a total life saver! I lost my apple TV remote and couldn’t set it up after I moved. I didn’t want to buy another remove that I would lose again (they’re wayyyy to small lol) so I google searched for a solution and found this product after about an hour. Bought it, downloaded it, and connected my apple TV within 15 minutes!! It works perfectly! It even helps when I’m studying and can’t text my friends from iMessage on my computer; I now type-text them with my iPhone connected to 1keyboard. This product has given me a way to control my TV and phone, from my computer. I can’t think of a more useful product! :D

Seemingly a really handy solution for Target Display Mode - I have a 2016 Macbook Pro with Touch Bar, and a 2011 iMac I want to use in target display mode at work. This is a pretty common problem (mainly because Apple doesn’t have a good solution), but I didn’t want to have two keyboards on my desk just to switch in and out of target display mode. This app SEEMS to be a really handy solution so far. Didn’t take long to set up, and has worked perfectly getting me in and out of dual display. I’ll come update this review if it stops working or if I find a bug. 4 stars because I’m annoyed it costed $10 for something that provides such a simple function, and also because the app hasn’t been updated in years so I’m guessing at some point it will no longer work on Mac OS.
